psp working without battery

i just bought a psp fat 1 2 years ago..... i hacked it nd i can download games from torrentz but now if my psp is working but i hav to remove the battery plug in the charging nd then i hold the power button it works without battery... but den i switch off my psp i hav to do the same thing..... my frnds r saying dat u charged ur psp for the whole night dat's y we hav to remove the battery first nd then it will work plzzzzz help me.... any1 plzzzzzz
