SOCOM : Fire Team Bravo 2 downloadable demo (another!)
June 30, 2007 on 10:33 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffThere has been a release of another Fire Team Bravo 2 Demo. This one though lacks some great features that were in the first fire team bravo demo like interface, tips, and voice acting. But who cares really its a demo just to get you in to the game really. First download the game demo here Then go into USB mode you should then see your PSP memory stick pop up on the screen Then using an extracter like 7-zip, extract the contents to your game folder. Then exit and go to the game menu and you should see the demo there.
SONY counterstrikes with 3.51 firmware update
June 30, 2007 on 3:16 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffWell, I just used my PSP to download the latest Network Update and it was 3.51. So it looks like SONY may have patched the Lumines exploit. There is no confirmation yet but I think we all know what that means. Lets hope people have finally gotten wiser and don't all flock to upgrade to 3.51 just because it is something new.
I'm sure we will all await to hear from Team C+D on decryption.
So does 3.51 once and for all spell the end for downgraders? Please post your thoughts.

Firmware 3.51 released to patch exploit
June 29, 2007 on 2:20 am | In Uncategorized | Comments OffNothing worth updating for here, so I'll go ahead and make it quick. Basically, Sony thinks they've found a way to patch the exploit, so they've gone ahead and released firmware 3.51 on the Network Update. I see no real reason to update unless you're totally anti-homebrew; this release offers no features of any sort. The changelog: Revisions to strengthen security have been added. If you like to stay up-to-date with Sony's firmware, go nuts. Otherwise take advantage of the 3.50 downgrader Noobz has brought forth to us.
Newsbits 6/28: Traxxpad gameplay, PSP driving revenue, PS Store additions, 3.50 downgrade video, etc.
June 28, 2007 on 9:09 pm | In Uncategorized | Comments OffPSPFanboy provides an honest look at Traxxpad, which shows us what to expect in the game. According to SCEA, the PSP has been having massive sales, and should help drive up the revenue. I wonder how the 3.50 downgrader will affect this, either positively or not. Check out the latest WipEout Pulse screens over at IGN. After having to deal with the all the legal action from Manhunt 2, Rockstar thanks all of those who have contacted them with questions, concerns, and/or support. A ton of PSOne titles have been released through the Playstation Store in Japan. Nineteen to be exact; hopefully the US store will update with more titles as well.
