Custom Firmware 4.01 M33 released!

Dark_Alex and team M33 have just recently released Custom Firmware 4.01! Here are the changes from the readme: Bug fix: vshmenu didn't let change camera mode due to camera_plugin using select button. Fixed, now vsh menu will not be loaded when using the camera. Recovery can now be translated, See how below. Translation to spanish is autoincluded. Updated the M33 SDK with a new function and sample, and released the psp-packer tool to compress prx's and PBP's in the ~PSP format. Firmware 4.01 now available via Network Update

Sony has released another minor update, firmware 4.01, which is now available via Network Update, or to download (here). It was released to fix issues with the video playback and internet search functionality that went live with firmware 4.00. Did anyone have trouble with firmware 4.00, or is Sony just working diligently to make the PSP a better experience? Thanks 3Cheers4Nerds!

US Playstation Store (PC) releases for 6/26

Hope you're a big Medievil fan, because this week's Playstation Store (PC) releases is all about Medievil Resurrection, with it now being available as a downloadable title. Sony has also released a trailer for the title, and a few wallpapers for your XMB. I haven't played Medievil since the ol' PSone, but I was certainly a fan. Downloadable Titles: Medievil Resurrection ($16.99) Game Videos: Medievil Resurrection interview trailer PSP Wallpaper: Medievil Resurrection wallpaper (x3) Downloading content from the Playstation Store to your PSP requires the Playstation Network Downloader, which is currently only Windows-compatible. Your PSP must be at firmware 3.70 or above, and a USB cable is required.
